  • Garlic

  • Roma tomatoes 3-5

  • Basil leaves (fresh) or 2 Tbsp

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • White wine

  • Parmesan cheese 4 oz

  • Dry fettuccine

Step-by-Step Cooking Directions for this Scampi Alla Caprese Recipe

  1. Heat up the saute’ pan on medium high heat When the pan is hot add the olive oil.

  2. Infuse the oil with the garlic for a few seconds.

  3. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the bottom of the pan.

  4. Allow to cook for approximately two minutes until the under side of the shrimp begin to turn pink. Flip the shrimp over and continue cooking. Once the shrimp are flipped over add the tomato and basil.

    Cook the shrimp for 2 min on each side.


  5. Stir the contents of the pan and allow to reduce for about two minutes

  6. When the sauce begins comes to a brisk simmer, add the lemon and white wine.

  7. Allow the sauce to reduce for about one minute and then add the butter.

    Add some butter.


  8. Turn the heat down on the pan and finish by adding the parmesan cheese.

    Sprinkle with cheese .
