How to Make a croutons Recipe from Sourdough Bread Step-by-Step Instructions
Add the olive oil to the sauce pan over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion and sliced garlic until fragrant. Use a serrated bread knife to cut the bread into cubes that will form croutons.
In a sauté pan, cook the butter and minced garlic over medium low heat until the mixture starts to brown.
Immediately remove from the heat then toss in the bread cubes to combine well, and toast for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Set aside and enjoy with a cauliflower soup or salad.
