Ingredients to Make Mayo at Home
1 egg
1 cup of oil
Pinch of salt
1 Tbsp of dijon mustard
2 Tbsp of lemon juice of vinegar
How to Make Mayo at Home Step-by-Step Directions

Add your egg to the blender along with the Dijon, lemon juice or vinegar.

Pulse the blender for about 2 seconds.

After your egg is blended remove the cap of the blender and turn it on low speed.

Begin drizzling the oil into the egg VERY slowly! This part is extremely important if the oil is added too slowly the mayonnaise will not emulsify and will separate.

Continue adding the oil to the mayonnaise and as the oil and other liquids begin to combine there will be a shift in the sound of the blender as it thickens.
