2 Cans (4 Cups) of Garbanzo Beans
1/2 Lemon
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 Cup of Tahini
1/2 Cup of Water (approximate)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions Begin by draining the cans of garbanzo beans of as much moisture as possible.

Next, add the garbanzo beans to a blender along with the lemon juice, olive oil and tahini, reserving about a tablespoon of olive oil to drizzle over the top of your hummus as garnish when completed.

Turn the blender on low and begin to drizzle the water into the blender, continuing until the hummus has reached the desired consistency.

Add the salt and pepper to taste and pulse the blender for another few seconds.
Serve this homemade hummus recipe with ciabatta bread, slices of pita bread, celery sticks, some chips or focaccia bread.
