  • Cut chicken 5-8 pieces

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour

  • 1 cup egg

  • Salt and pepper

  • Canola oil (it has a high smoke point and is perfect for frying)

  • Granulated garlic

  • Hungarian or spanish paprika

  1. Mix the spices together with the flour to create a delicious fried chicken batter.

  2. Dip the tender chicken pieces in to the egg yolk and coated with flour. The egg yolk is the binding agent that helps ensure all the pieces stick together.

  3. Heat the canola oil (for frying the oil needs to have a high smoke point and canola oil is perfect for this) in a pan and gently drop the chicken using a tongs. Allow the chicken to cook until you see the golden color and a crust forming on the chickens, then flip the fried chicken over in the skillet and repeat on all sides.
