Step-by-Step Cooking Directions
-
Prepare the Mise-en-place (French for in its place). Dill (Roughly Chopped) 1 Clove Minced Garlic 2 tbsp Butter 1 cup of Heavy Cream Salt and Pepper to taste. Start by finely mincing your galic and rough chopping your dill sprigs. When chopping your dill make sure that you are using a sharp knife so as to not bruise the dill.
-
Melt the unsalted butter in a non-stick pan on medium to high heat.
-
Once the butter has melted, add the garlic to the pan and sauté for about one minute.
-
Add the fresh dill and sauté for about 20-30 seconds only. Finally add the heavy cream to the pan and gently stir the ingredients together.
-
Allow the cream to continue cooking for a few minutes until the sauce has reduced and thickened. You will know your sauce is ready when it has enough thickness to cling to your spoon and not just run off. Add salt and pepper to taste and pour over your favorite seafood or poultry.
-
Serve and enjoy this creamy dill recipe as a dip or over grilled salmon.
