How To Cook Alfredo Chicken Recipe
Start by slicing your chicken into cubes and season.
In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter to create your Alfredo chicken sauce. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook 8-10 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set chicken aside.
In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and then add the flour.
Cook while stirring until well blended and creamy but don’t let it start to brown. We want it to stay fairly light in color. Add the seasonings and stir again.
Pour in the cream a little bit at a time, stirring well as you go. It will look lumpy at first, but keep stirring and it will come together. Adjust thickness by adding a little more cream if it gets too thick.
Once all is blended and creamy, add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Add the pasta and cooked chicken into the skillet and toss until hot.
